Unilever Nigeria announced an interim dividend of ₦2.00 per ordinary share in a notice dated 23 October 2026 and filed with NGX. The payment relates to the period ended 30 September and is subject to applicable withholding tax.

Shareholders must appear in the company's register at the close of business on Friday, 30 October to qualify. The register will be closed from 2 to 6 November, inclusive. The notice schedules electronic payment for Wednesday, 18 November for eligible shareholders who have completed e-dividend registration and given the registrar a bank-payment mandate.

A company results statement carried by Nairametrics reported nine-month revenue of ₦184.0 billion and net profit of ₦26.4 billion, compared with ₦155.4 billion and ₦21.9 billion respectively a year earlier. It put the total interim dividend at ₦11.5 billion. Those figures describe the reported period, rather than a projection of future earnings.

What shareholders should distinguish

FXRates.ng's interpretation is that the immediate practical information is the timetable: the announcement, qualification and payment dates serve different purposes. Existing shareholders can check their registration details through the registrar named in the NGX notice.

The declared amount is a gross cash distribution per share, not a guaranteed investment return or a forecast of the share price. No dividend yield is calculated here.
