Dangote Cement's nine-month profit rises 31.2%
Dangote Cement's consolidated interim accounts show ₦974.8 billion in nine-month profit and lower finance costs.
Dangote Cement's consolidated interim accounts show profit of ₦974.8 billion for the nine months to 30 September 2026, compared with ₦743.3 billion a year earlier. FXRates calculates growth of approximately 31.2% from the reported figures.
Revenue reached ₦3.774 trillion, an increase of about 19.6%. Pre-tax profit rose to ₦1.473 trillion, while finance costs declined to ₦120.8 billion from ₦286.0 billion. These are group totals, not the separate Nigerian parent-company figures.
The filing contains an independent interim-review report signed by KPMG on 27 October. A review provides less assurance than a full audit; the report also identifies the comparable 2025 interim information as unreviewed.
For readers following Nigerian manufacturing, the result offers evidence about one producer's historical earnings and financing costs. It does not, on its own, establish a change in cement prices, construction demand or household purchasing power. Those questions require additional market evidence beyond a company's profit statement.
When comparing the numbers, keep the reporting scope and period consistent. A consolidated group includes subsidiaries, whereas separate-company accounts cover a narrower entity. Mixing those columns can create a misleading growth comparison. The nine-month result is also distinct from a full-year outcome or a forecast.
